Preparation and cooking-15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded spinach (1 bunch)
- 2 tbsp chopped bottle gourd
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 2 cup water
- some butter(optional)
- 1/4tsp cumin seeds.
- Method:
- Wash spinach and add chopped bottle gourd/lauki/ghiya/doodhi in it.
- Take a large pan and add 2 cups water in it.Add the spinach and bottle gourds and boil it for five minutes .Wait for the vegetables to cool down a bit.
- Do not throw the water of spinach and bottle gourd.Pour it whole in mixer and grind till it is smooth.
- Take a pan and add little 1tsp. of butter and cumin seeds when hot.
- Add the blended mixture and add salt and black pepper in it.
- Bring it to a boil.
