Ingredients:
For chocolate sponge:

Method:
1.In a baking tray, spread the bakery paper and heat at 180 degree C.
2.In a bowl,beat the sugar, eggs and vanilla essence until blended well.
3.Add slowly the cocoa powder and flour in the blended mixture.
4.Pour the mixture in the baking tray and bake for 30-40 minutes.
5.Remove from the oven and let cool for 4-5 minutes.
6.In a another bowl, beat thoroughly 70 gm of sugar with cream until mixed well.
7.Add the chocolate essence in the cream.
8.Boil water with the remaining sugar to make syrup.
9.Slice the cake in three layers horizontally and spread the syrup over each layers.
10.Replace the slices one after the other and spread the cream over the cake.
11.Slice in the shapes of pastry.
12.Garnish with grated chocolate and cherry.
13.Serve chilled.

- 50 gm sugar
- 15 gm Cocoa powder
- 3 Eggs
- Few drops of Vanilla essence

- 175 gm Cream
- 75 gm Sugar
- 40 gm Chocolate flakes
- 25 gm Cherry
- 2-3 drops Chocolate essence
Method:
